Yard and Garden

Here are some pictures of our yard and my attempt at the vegetable garden.

and another

These were how big my two tomatoes got :(
I think it's safe to say I am not a master gardener.

Trying to get the weeds out of the bed.  Maybe another year I will try a raised bed so I don't have to deal with those weeds as much!

Painting at ECS

Justin once again had the opportunity to paint at ECS in June, 2013.
This time, not only did he paint the new verse in the Field House, but he also painted in the Legacy Center weight room.  Here are some pictures of him working.  He did a great job!

Time to Share a Room!

We left Franklin on June 21st, 2013, and headed home.  We planned on putting James in his bed and Reese in her crib right when we got home because it was late.  As soon as we pulled up in the garage, James asked if he could sleep on the top bunk, and if Reese could sleep on the bottom bunk.  Justin and I had recently talked about how we would probably move Reese in there soon, to make room for the baby, but we hadn't planned on starting it the first night we got home from traveling!
Well, we figured now was as good a time as any other time!
I could not believe it was time for Reese to move out of her crib at a little over two years of age.

Wonder how the night will go?!

Justin reads bed time stories ;)

*Update:  They did GREAT!  Reese stayed in her bed just fine!  No rail or anything!  James finally slept through the whole night too!  Maybe Reese provided a sense of comfort to him.  So thankful it went smooth, and now we can get the nursery ready for baby #3!

Father's Day, June 2013

On June 16th, 2013, we celebrated Father's Day in Franklin.
Justin and I are so blessed to each have incredible dads, who love us, protect us, give us advice, and model Christ!  Thank you Jim Payne and Bill Bellican!
Well, when it comes to the father of my children, I could not have asked the Lord for one better one.  Justin, you are a man that LOVES our children, plays hard with them, laughs with them, guides them, lovingly corrects them, and teaches them about CHRIST!
Happy Father's Day!
