This is James in the sanctuary.
( He is using the bulletin as a blanket..ha)
On Sundays James and Reese used to BOTH go straight to the nursery for both the service and sunday school hours. Once James turned three, we decided to start practicing him sitting in the service during the first hour. He would sit and listen to the prayers, hymns, scriptures, and announcements, then Justin would take him down the isle with the other small children and James would listen to the children's sermon. Then Justin would take him out the side door and to the nursery for the remainder of church.
But NOW, James listens to the children's sermon and then comes back to the pew and sits for the entire adult sermon! He does great most Sundays and hopefully one day soon he will have the courage to walk up and down the isle without Justin :)
