James has become completely captivated with Monster Trucks. He LOVES them!
This is his normal morning routine.
Right when he wakes up, he lines up his books, then lines up his "crushed" cars, and takes his monster trucks for rides over them.
He discovered his love for Monster Trucks by watching the History Channel's Modern Marvels "Monster Trucks" on Netflix. He has been hooked ever since.
Justin found out that Monster Jam was coming to the Fed Ex Forum in mid February, and so he got tickets for he and James to have a fun night!
Justin made James a countdown on paper the week before the Monster Jam.
He carried it with him every where talking about how many days left until the show!
And the show begins!
We knew it would be loud.
We actually practiced James with some head phones, but he said he would rather just plug his ears with his fingers ;) That only lasted 5 minutes and then he was good to go :)

James loved when the monster truck broke down and a tractor had to take it off the course.
Justin and James waited until the show was over and every one had gone. This is a picture of where they actually sat. The bull dozers came out and started clearing out the dirt. James loved that too!
They went down closer to watch the clean up crew for a while.
What a fun night! The boys got home around 10:45pm.
I think this will be something we continue to do with James as the shows come to town!
